Returns Policy and Consumer Rights
All products purchased from Crafty JACS are subject to New Zealand’s Consumer Guarantees Act. As such, in the event of a product having a minor fault, we reserve the right to either refund, repair or replace the item in question. Regarding major faults, the consumer has the choice to request a replacement or a refund. Crafty JACS reserves the right to request evidential documentation around the nature of the fault to confirm the fault and severity.
Crafty JACS does not offer refunds/exchanges for circumstances constituting a change of mind. Although, you are welcome to contact us with your situation as we will assess on a case-by-case basis.
If an exchange is requested, the consumer may receive a different product back given they are equal or less in monetary value. The consumer may also request an item of higher value given they cover the difference in cost. For exchanges, the original item must be returned first with the consumer covering the cost of shipping. For some items within the store, an exchange may not be possible due to them being custom-made. In these cases, refunds or repairs will be pursued. It is worth mentioning that many products of the same type will vary. I.e., for resin creations, the placement of contents will be different between each item. By agreeing to an exchange, you accept that the received replacement will likely not be identical to the original product.

As many of the products originate from organically sourced materials, you accept that natural wear and tear of products can occur and that these will not be covered in the warranty. Crafty JACS does not take any responsibility for products damaged in transit but we will endeavour to help where possible.
Requests Policy
As a company, we offer requests for custom-made work. Currently, requests can be made for resin creations and wire trees. We are open to hearing your interest for other products.
When requesting a product, you will be asked for your budget. This will define the size and number of hours the product will receive. If you are unsure, please contact us regardless and we can assist.
To make the product worthwhile to you, we ask you to provide as many details as possible as to what you wish to receive. I.e., colour schemes, tree styles, preferences, etc. Do not spare the detail. We reserve the right to ask for further information to ensure quality service.
Upon agreement of a project, an invoice for 30% of the agreed rate will be sent to the consumer. This will need to be paid before the commencement of production and will cover the cost of purchased material. This deposit will be non-refundable if cancellation occurs after 2 weeks from the transfer date (of the initial invoice) to protect the cost on the business.
To ensure transparency, photos of the completed product will be sent to the designated email address at finish. In this instance, the remaining 70% cost will be required to be paid by invoice before shipping of the product occurs.
The consumer will also need to cover the cost of shipping.
We reserve the right to post footage and/or photos of custom products to our social media sites for advertising purposes.
While we will endeavour to make requests work, we reserve the right to deny any request if it does not suit us/fit at the time.

Shipping Disclaimer
Here at Crafty JACS, we wish to get you the product you desire. As such, for certain locations and international travel, additional fees associated with transportation may occur in addition to the purchase of an item. All prices will be clearly listed on checkout.
Additionally, transactional fees associated with currency exchange will occur if paying from international bank accounts.
